The Teacher Home-Buying Program

LampLighterOne and Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. are providers of the teacher home-buying program. It is open to school district and university employees as well as their retirees, that offers special incentives and “out-of-pocket” savings when buying a home. It is available to teachers and school staffs who register with LampLighterOne and use LL1 Affiliates and Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. (who are providing the incentives)*.

PURSUANT TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 157.007 OF THE TEXAS MORTGAGE BANKER ACT, CHAPTER 157, TEXAS FINANCE CODE, YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED OF THE FOLLOWING:

THE DEPARTMENT MAINTAINS A RECOVERY FUND TO MAKE PAYMENTS OF CERTAIN ACTUAL OUT OF POCKET DAMAGES SUSTAINED BY BORROWERS CAUSED BY ACTS OF LICENSED RESIDENTIAL MORTGAGE LOAN ORIGINATORS. A WRITTEN APPLICATION FOR REIMBURSEMENT FROM THE RECOVERY FUND MUST BE FILED WITH AND INVESTIGATED BY THE DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO THE PAYMENT OF A CLAIM.
